Default White smoke out of exhaust.. Need help

So the smoke has been happening for 2 months now and it's starting to annoy me! I have checked the oil to see if the oil is milky and checked the colant resivor for oil in it. Neither had those symptoms. It is not smoking all the time and boost gauge says 12lbs of boost at 4k rpms in 4th. I'm trying to figure out if it's head gasket or a turbo going wrong. Please let me know what you guys think is wrong. I'd love to get this car fixed so I can stop racking the miles up on my 05 s4

My best guess would probably be either the Turbo, or bad valve stem seals.

White smoke typically means leaky turbo, but the death of the turbo is accompanied by the dentist drill sound.

Thank you guys for the ideas. The turbo started a whineding sound yesterday. Which of the two do you think it is turbo slowly going or bad stem valves?

I have checked the bearing of the turbo when I put my fmic on 3 days ago and there's no shaft play at all.

Bad valve stem seals wiil usually produce blue smoke (oil burning) while the car is coasting in gear. High vacuum condition sucking oil into the combustion chamber past the valve seals.

What you just explained for what a bad valve stem seal color of smoke doesn't match up to mine. So it's leading me to I gotta change my turbo.
