my dad has a 98 a6 1.8t in greece, i dont think that engine was an option in the US but he has 420,000 km on it,(u can do the math) just had it serviced, not using any oil and perfect compression.. anyhow its the same motor we have, its what convinced me to get mine

i have a 97 with 179250. Replacing valve cover gasket and reverse switch. Have done some belts, think air conditioning is next! 2 sets of tires, brakes. So far thats it. She still runs good, except I cant pass emissions because check ingine light is on.
