The way InsaneHatter calculated it is how I would have looked at it as well. But you can't always go by the numbers like that. Especially since you have gear ratios to factor in. I would look at average 1/4 mile times for each car to see where they stack up.

true, but i think all these cars a relatively the same in gearing... though the GS-T and Mustang might have more sportier gearing.

BMW is an I6 motor
Mustang is a V6 motor
GST is a 2L Turbo Charged motor w/ 12 PSI
RS is a 2L motor NA Inline 4
Audi is Inline 4 turbo charged at around 9 PSI ( your car 14.7 PSI)

Are you sure the BMW will beat me?

Gah. So my car is still slower than 99% of all cars on the street. Is there any car I CAN beat??? lol

Also, comparing to the BMW, which car would you rather have? Mine or his (it's a friend's)? What are some other advantages mine has to his (except the 88,000 miles on mine vs. his 130,000). Of these cars, which would you rather own? (dumb question to ask on an Audi foum I guess).

i dont no i think it wouuld be very close between ur stock s4(tip) and a 5 speed gst i would be interested to watch that

My buddy Tim has a '97 Eclipse GS-T... Fully rebuilt engine, ported and polished head, 1G Intake Manifold ported out, 2G Exhaust Manifold ported out, 14B Turbocharger ported out, 3" downpipe, Injen Intake, Crushed 1G BOV, RC Engineering 550cc Injectors, S-AFCII, ARP Head Studs, Cometic 4-Layer Head Gasket, Autometer EGT, Aeromotive FPR/Slow Boy Racing -6an SS Lines, stock exhaust, stock SMIC. Running 23psi, with plenty of room left for improvement.

Anyway, he raced an S4 Avante that sounded pretty mean, but I honestly couldn't tell you what the S4 had done. However, Tim destroyed him at the top of second. I don't have it on video unfortunately, but I have some video of Tim's car during a few spirited drives, I'll post them up just for fun.
