Default Why The A4 Forum Needs a Nanny

Hope that got your attention...Well you're here, so it must of.

As an owner of 3 Audis so far (1.8T, 2.8Q, and now an A3 2.0T), I have had the pleasure of perusing this forums great ideas, helpful tips, and opinions. Even though many of you actually know what you are talking about, and know how to express your ideas civily, many of you are downright rude. There are a few things that I really think would help this forum progress from being the trash talking, condescending board to a helpful and civil one. (Just try and find any of your hostility in the A3, A6, or A8 forums...)

Please be clear on what I am saying; I am not telling all of you that your opinions are no good, because that would be ludicrous. We are all here for one another's opinions just as much as we are for the facts. I just ask that when you give your opinion, do so in a manor that doesn't make it look like you think it is law. Many of you 1.8T'ers are very biased and condescending to anyone with a V6 (or different from your b5's for that matter); while you think it builds you up, it really leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth that does not see your point of view. You guys need to understand we are all here because we have Audis or we like to talk about them, or both. Please try to keep it clean and BE HAPPY FOR ONE ANOTHER. Audi makes more than one model for a reason.

But keep in mind that this is, after all, just my opinion.

Cheers,
Danny

The A4 section is a feisty group, especially the 1.8t-ers. You are going to read things that might be considered offensive and overly biased. This is an open public forums group... So its all about freedom of speech and personal oppinions. Deal with it.

There are definately some aggressive attitudes running around here, however it is a public forum. People are free to express their views and opinions. If you think that someone elses opinion is wrong, misleading, or you have a better suggestion, speak up.

I like peanut butter.

LOL bacon..

1.8T's rock. Deal with it. Someone move this to the OT

Oh and by the way the only time you ever hear our opinions for the v6's is when it comes time to reply to a silly post such as.. "mods for 2.8 please help"

If its just a regular person enjoying a nice car then so be it. he/she is using it for what it was made for.
