why is it so hard too bost a turbo its anoying, neways, my bro has a 1.8T FWD, but the guy he bought it says it has a K04 but we dont know how to tell if his full of it, when we bought it we didnt ask lolll we assumed its a K03

whats the best way to tell

and neway for my main question... which i shouldve asked first lol... what is the simplest way to tell how much boost ur running (vag-com?) and the easiest way to boost it?

its a 1997 1.8Turbo FWD A4

 

Look at the turbo and on the tag it will have a number that say somewhere k04 or k03 somthing, buy a boost guage and install it is the best way.... after that to get more power, exhaust, test pipe, intake( not gunna give you much)...... or you could just upgrade to a BT like the gt28rs

i saw the turbo it has random numbers, unless im not looking at the right part lol the turbo is that big brown thing ont he side of the engine

 

It should say something like "German KKK K03" or "Germany kkk k04" ... Look up "Pray for arif" in the search and look at the pics in it.. You will get a good idea of where the turbo is, and what a beastly turbo looks like...

 

Its its like puting ur ko3 on a bycicle.

lol that would be soo badass to have a k03'ed gocart.

 

keep your ko3 when we change it with the ko4 and lets find and old *** golf kart and see it we can swap it out
