Default Wierd occurence...

Hey guys. I just had something weird happen today. It was about 40 degress and I was going about 10mph and was gonna change lanes so i gunned it...all of a sudden the car sorta hiccuped or hesitated and the check engine light went on. I noticed it and then let go of the throttle. All of a sudden the check engine light turned off. I continued driving and the car ran fine- no rough idle, didn't notice anything weird. I didn't try stomping on the gas again tho cause i was afraid it might make things worse but do u guys have any input as to what might've happened????

Get vagged. Could be a random coil pack malfunction causing missfire(s) I know that the B5's are known for random coil pack problems-as in they dont just quit on you, symptoms can come and go.

Thanks for the heads up!

....can it also be the spark plugs?? I don't think they've been changed recently

Possibly could be plug wires as well.

It's hard to tell without any Codes and if it you can't recreate the problem.
