Will I miss my Boxster if I get an A4 3.0?
Ok OK I know Im the only one who can really answer that, but I'd like some opinions. Was looking to lease a winter car as my '92 Seville is requiring to much maintenance. What people want for some of these leases is unbelievable. Gotta lease, don't want to take on more debt. Financially, I'm in good shape just very conservative with $$$$. Except for my cars of course.
Anyway I really like the A4. I figure a 3.0 has more power than the Boxster, Quattro and I can get my bike in the back. But I can make a payment on something Im driving and enjoying year round vs 7 months a year. Will I miss it HE$$ Yes! But, kids are in high school, will be needing another car soon so the Boxster is starting to look like an extravagance. So I'm thinking of trading in the Boxster and the Seville and for a few bucks drive home a 3.0. There still out there and their willing to deal. Any thought from fellow car nuts????

I'm biased...but...go with the A4. You thinkin avant or sedan? The more I see avants the more I take a liking to them. My previous car was a wagon so I wanted to get away from them and I love my sedan..but I think my next one is gonna be an avant.

OK the thing is that an a4 will not give you eneywhere near the joy of driving as your boxster will.
But if you are looking for a realy good allaround car, then the a4 is a good idea.
all I can say is give it alot of thought before you sell your babby.

Transverse Im thinking sedan, but I do think the avants are really nice.
Turbo, yeah Im gonna think long and hard about unloading the Boxster. I've had it for 4+ years so I can at least say "been there, done that." Been a car nut since I was 7 years old. I remember when I sold my first car, '69 Nova SS350. Was very sad, but waiting for me there was the yellow Porsche 914 ( I have a thing for mid-engined cars, 'cuz I owned an MR2 also).

Yes everyone listen to swift_a4... he really sounds like he knows that he's talkin about...
Ah yes k69. That was the first car I really lusted after '69 Z28 Cortez Silver, blue rallly stripes. But it was a whopping $3,000! Sigh.
As for the ferrari. I was talking to some former ferrari owner at a German car show. He said parts would fall off as he was driving! You could probably get one each of every model Audi for a ferrari Enzo.
If all we wanted was transportation we all would be driving Chevy Cavaliers!
