Default will these fit on my B5?

sorry, quick nOOb question for you guys... I'm looking at buying a set of 18" B6 USP wheels, and the tires on them are 235/40/18. will these fit on my B5 without rubbing too much? I need to know quickly because I want to go look at these tomorrow morning. thanks in advance!

not sure what the b6 usp's are but i think thats the most common tire size for 18s everyones got on their b5s. i got em and they never rubbed, i was lowered for a while and still no rubbing.

235's will rub if you lower your car too much and don't roll your fenders. Otherwise, you'll be fine.

awesome, thanks a lotguys. my car is stocksport height, and I don't plan on going much lower than H&R sport springs, so I think I should be ok right?

the wheels are actually 18" replicas of the B6 ultrasport wheels, here's a pic:

that's exactly what I was hoping to hear, thanks. H&R sport springs with either bilstein or koni shocks is the setup I want. coilovers would be nice but I don't think they'll be in the budget for a while.

Those rims are called "Celebrations". They came on the 2001 A4 Sport in 17". On the B6's they come in 18s.

ah ok, I thought they looked similar to the 17's which came on some late B5's. thanks for the info.

how's this sound for price? the guy wants $800 CDN (roughly $750USD)for them, with decent tires at 70% tread. I think I'll offer him 700 cash.

I'm running B6 USP wheels with no rubbing problems at all on a 98.5 stock sport suspension.
