Does anyone know what these wheels are originally off of? Will they fit on a 2000 A4?

They kinda look like the wheels off the new Jetta, but they have Audi center caps. They could be the Sline wheels off the B7A4.

I am guessing that Clx's second answer is correct, they look like they are off of a B7 A4, I think the B7's have an offset of 45...

the bolt pattern should be the same 5x112, but the offset may be a lil off, I am guessing you will have some issues with fitment...

but, I am pretty sure a set of 8mm spacers will do the trick!

B6 A4 rims 17" won't fit on the B5 A4 because both rims has offset 45 but B6 rims are 7.5" width and B5 rims are 7" for 16" diameter rim.
So, without replacing the tires, the B6 rims will rub inside.

That said, I doubt the B7 rims will fit on the B5 at all.
not sure about 8mm but 10mm spacers should work.

I got 18" rims 8.5" width and 35 offset.
also check the tire size.
I am using 225 with the 18s but 235/45 17 rim from the B6 didnt work.

best thing is to try it on before buying but from what I can see... pretty sure they won't fit without spacers.

How about 2000 S4 wheels ( 215/55/R16 ) on a 2005 a4 (currently running 235/40/R18 )?

It should fit but you will need to check for the brake size.
That will be your only problem.

You might wanna check the size of spare donut if you have one.
they are usually 15" or 16" steel rims.
if the spare is 16" then you are 90% there about fitting a 16" stock rim.

I am assuming the center bore is the same (I am not sure if they changed for 05.)

btw... why smaller? racing? winter tires?

So if I run 18" wheels with an offset of 35 and a 255 tire width everything should fit?

I am posative the wheels in the pic that you posted above WILL fit a B5 A4!!!! (100%)

there is a guy on there, his username is ThePaintballGuy and he actually has the wheels in the pic that youposted above...


so, to answer you question, ask him how he mounted them on his car, he's a nice guy and will prolly be more than happy to answer it via PM.

besides that, Victor_C...the B5 A4 will accept an offset between about 32-40....for future reference...

To your second question depends on the width of the wheel...I'm guessing that you'd go w/a 18x7.5-8.5" a 225 tire would be perfect.

I run 18x8.5" and 235 tires (they still look a bit stretched) I went with a bit more meat for potholes and such, as of now I have no complaints, but I plan on lowering my car soon and then I will go down to a 225 because right now the car looks like its wearing a pair of clown shoes.
