will this turbo fit on my 1999.5 B5 A4 1.8T FWD??

its for an S4 by the way

NO, first of all......it looks like a piece of ****. Second.....it is not made for a A4

how do you figure it has a 5 bolt exhaust flange? I only count 3 holes, unless you're looking at where the downpipe bolts up to the turbo, where the wastegate flapper is?



it is for an S4 though, you're right. I think the only difference though is the orientation of the compressor housing, it's rotated so that it faces the right way for a V6 application.

last time i checked i wasnt blind but looks like 5 bolt holes to me

the spot where there's 5 holes is not the exhaust flange. the flange with THREE holes in it is the exhaust flange, where exhaust gases exit the exhaust manifold and enter the turbo. the flange with 5 holes is not the exhaust flange.

my bad. here's a shot of a K04 for an A4 application. this is the strangest looking back end of a turbo I've ever seen, only 3 bolts? weird.

im pretty sure he wassaying "exhaust" meaning where the cat bolts up to the turbo
I dont see anything else here....correct me if im wrong

I dont see anything else here....correct me if im wrong
the "exhaust flange" is where the turbo bolts to the manifold. the flange with 5 holes in it (on an S4 turbo) is called something else, but I can't remember the name of it.
