window tint
right, whats the law on the california window tint anybody??
i want to tint my windows but many people i no keep getting tickets and are told to get it taken off!!
i was lookin online and it said back windows can be tinted as dark as you want but front need 70% of
light in so 30% tint?
what do you guys recomend on the tinting? i have a quartz grey a4

For the tint percentage, the lower the number the darker the tint. So a 35% tint only allows 35% of the light to come through. So it appears that you can have any tint on the back and rear sides. Just need a 70% on the front sides and nothing below 4 inches on the windshield.

Oh yea, and what looks good for yours? Well it's all up to you but 35% all around looks best IMO. Might be able to get away with 50% on the front then do a 35% on the rear but I personally am not a fan of split tint % on a car. I like when it's all the same % all the way around.
