I've had my 2002 A4 for about 5 months now and one thing is quite aggravating. When I use the window washing feature the fluid squirts out and then the wipers go about 4 times. Then about 5-10 sec later the wipers do one more sweep. I wish it did not do this final sweep because it usually streaks the window or once again makes it dirty. The only way I can get around it is to switch the wipers on then off while it is in the cleaning mode. Is there a way to stop this final sweep or is it part of the design?

When I go number 2, I usually take 4 wipes, wait 10-15 seconds, and do a final pass... good thing it usually helps, cuz if it streaked like your wipers, it'd be a sh*tty situation.

Have you changed your wiper blades recently? If not that could be the reason it causes the streaking you are describing.
