So am i to assume if you have a full tank of wiper fluid, your pump is bad since it seems like everyone who has an A4 has this problem?

Could be. It could also be a clogged line. Have someone put his ear right at the fluid container when you press the switch and see if you can hear the pump. Also check the fuses.

I would say yes, the odds of your lines becoming clogged are slim.

yeah the seal where the pump connects to the reservoir has a reputation for going bad.

Yes the pumps do go bad if you need a quick fix just put a fuse in and that will last you a little longer if it is just leaking out try putting in a seal first where the pump goes into the container
