I may go with something along those lines down the road..for now thw 35r should do the trick. My main focus is to get the head built this winter..I dont want to go through another rebuild again. I'm surprised the head held up as long as it did reving it that high..All it really needs is a solid valvetrain with some headwork and this car should be a different animal. I'm really leaning towards the water/meth injection when running the race program.

 

And yes its running off of the MAF no MAP sensor

 

all ctapp tunes run off of the maf, seeing as how he specializes in ndbw cars that were never equipped with a map sensor

so you're going wtih a solid lifter head? i've always wanted to see a GT35r'd 1.8t that can rev up to 10k.. should be a monster. glad to hear it's back

 

how many have you see rev past 9k with a solid lifter head? I havent see to many past high 8k range.

 

No solid lifter setup. Just uprated valves spring and retainers. Which was the main source for the damage done to the motor. any 20v being revved up past 7500 rpm for a given time will let go. But since the previous head had about 160k on it. My brand new one should be fine.
