I've been in an accident, (wasnt driving).. and my dad has been in a roll over (also not driving) and its terrible. But whats important is that neither of us were seriously injured. Its just a car like mentioned above, it can be fixed. Its not the end of the world..[&:]

First, don't go to a dealer. They'll rip you a new one with the labor rate. Find a local Euro mechanic. Make sure they specialize in Audi/VW. Yes, generator means alternator. If you or someone you know is mechanically inclined, I highly recommend making the repairs yourself. Labor prices are a pain and anything on these cars is going to take over an hour. What year is your car?
