Most likely its a cheap knockoff and made out of inferior materials - thanks for the link to the craigslist ad - that helped a lot[:-] - to make a better decision we will at a minimum need a brand name or something other than "RS4 front bumper" - guaranteed its not a real RS4 front or it would be going for a lot more

I think that you are right and this is an ebay front end - problems with these fronts are #1 Quality - they are known to break very easily #2 Fit - known issues with fitment - I would suggest (and I know you don't want to hear it) to go to lltek.com and pick one up there. feel free to pick this one up - price it right

find out how much a body shop will charge you to mount and paint. and know that when (not if) this one breaks you will be paying for it again.

or just stick with your original bumper and shove a fmic behind it, with a bt and blow all the ricers with their body kits off the road and into the waters

He doesnt say who its made by. I've installed both the rsr and rieger front bumper. theyre both decent ( Id take the RSR made out of Purim over the Rieger - Its thicker and its made of fiber reinforced ABS rather than just ABS) If this is an actual OEM german RS4 bumper youre gonna have some problems. The bumper shocks are about two inches shorter and the bumper is flared at the sides because the RS4 has flared fenders. It can be put on but its a pain in the a$$ to do. I've seen a few posts and I know theres some companies that do it. Good Luck- Go check it out
