New member here considering a convertible and the A4 is probably the car for me but I have to ask a few questions, I've had numerous cars/SUV's including several converts and now am considering another convert. I'm in the Philly 'burbs and drive about 15-20K per year as a sales rep. Weather is a concern of mine which is why I am not considering a CLK cab type car. So my question is....can the A4 with quattro be used as a primary car? I'd look for spend under 35K and probably want an 08 or 09 model.

Any thoughts on this? I'd be getting rid of my 08 350ML suv.

I haven't driven the A4 Cab, but I'm sure it would work well as a daily driver, in weather and all. Quattro dominates! With that budget, and the model years you're looking at, you should check out the A5 cab too. It replaced the A4 Cab in '09. The styling is different, and it's definitely worth considering. I love the A5 cab but the prices are all over 40K. Maybe 35K and I would do it but it seems that the A4 is about 30K while the A5 are still 40K+.
