then go to AZ and buy a heat sheild from a guy over there that sells them - check the for sale section - very good quality

im sorry but if your not willing to put in the miniscule amount of time neccasary to put together a simple heat shield for your audi you probably wouldnt want to look into moding it whatsoever.

I guess i'll just check it out.. i kinda don't get how it just sits their if the the vacuum tube holding it is the only support?

Thats 100% the reason to get a heatsheild for a N/A car and/or move it out of the engine bay. Cooler denser air = MORE POWER. [8D]

what are you talking about vac tubing? the sheild is held on by the clamp for the filter. Its not going anywhere

yeah i really dont trust high quality JDM versions on my TUV and DOT approved Bahn blaster.

at least it is stainless steel so a good heat shield not that im interested of coursebut better than some of the crap Ive seen

Get an evoms or a carbino, it comes with a sheild.

just make one. there is pretty much no way to screw it up and it costs like 10 bucks
