here are two types of shocks i am considering, please be honest, if they are bad i want to no. i am planing on getting about an 1inch -1.75 inch drop on my 96 12v fwd. will these be able to handle that?

i would just be ordering the shocks at the top, that fit my car

bilstein and knoi are far from bad. as for the ride hight thing, I dont know if you needed to get the ones with the "SP' insted of the "HD".

it looks as though the konis are for lowered vehicle per the first discribing paregraph on that page I think that you made a good choise in shock either way but I would deff get the "SP" if i was going with the bilestein's. Also, give those numbers a call and ask them.

Yes, you should be good with either of those shocks for that amount of lowering.
