hahha, miss the cars, damage the accesory stand...lol...

that sux dude, but it just seems to me like they didnt tighten all the coolant lines properly, and it was leaking and than eventually just blew off. but anyways, if u pulled over pretty quickly then the motor should be fine. good luck and i hope everything works out

Cracked Radiator? Water-Pump going bad?


Back when I had my 96 A4... I was leaking badly.

1st the radiator cracked. I got that fixed.
Then my water-pump went.


if it's alot of leaking I'd say its ur water-pump. Otherwise Lift your car and double check ur hoses.make sure something didnt come loose are the hoses to radiator secured?

hahah thanks for the input... well its not the radiator since they just put a brand new one in... they better fix it quick becuase i dont feel like waiting and i schedualed part installs for next thursday.... so if its not done by then... its game over at audi

I was losing coolant through a cracked thermostat housing which they replaced under warranty just after i bought the car.

Engine should be fine.

However, after they repair it, talk to the service manager and remind him that you told them that you were leaking prior to this incident and that they blew you off.

definatly will do that... yea i guess i cant complain that they are fixing it now even though it went out of warentee when my car was undrivable... they originally wernt going to do it though until the engine just couldnt handle it any more, then they had to do something

damn...yea...at least theyre fixing it....although i really dont like new country at all.....but then again....theyre in greenwich...which accounts for their attitude towards life/your car
