If I go really really fast and the step on the clutch, I get such awesome mileage the display reads "---.-MPG" I win.

 

yeah... i tend to get somewhere around 320-350 miles to a tank. I have a heavy foot though. so as long as i get over 300 miles to the tank i'm happy. lol.

 

that isnt instant readings that was range i can travel

 

How in god's green earth can you go 1k+ on one tank of gas?

 

So Jeff, what's your story? How do you get 1000+ miles on a tank ... a 17 gallon, I presume?

 

haha no it was when i was running a bt. my injectors messed up the calculations im sure

 

just because his screen states 1025miles doesn't mean he actually went that far.. everytime after a fill up my screen says around 600miles, but i'll only get 400ish..

and why does everyone say "my car went X amount of miles on a tank"? we need to know how large the tank is for that to mean anything. give a MPG(miles driven/gallons used) and you'll have a much better comparison

 

I got mine to say a little over 600miles lefton a full tankwhen i was coasting down the mounting on highway 50 from lake Tahoe. It went back down to 250 once i hit the bottom of the mountain.

 

Haha, exactly. for a minute at the top of the moutain you have a little bit of hope.. then it is crushed down by reality.
