Default wrap your maf more throttle response

so i was looking thru audi world tech and found this article where a guy wrapped this maf with a towel because when the engine/exhaust manifold (same side as intake box) got hot, it started to get hot giving wrong temprature readings.

so i took aluminim foil and i wrapped the intake pipe and maf and drove all day today.

noticed alot more throttle response and the power dip at like 3500 was pretty much gone. car feels like it revs up soo much easier than before.

i'm selling my car so i'm not gonna leave on teh alien like mod, but worth a try

actually "fool", this mod does not work. i know this because i understand elementary physics. foil doesn't stop ambient heat (the kind of heat coming off your engine)...it only reflects radiant heat from things like the sun...and on top of that, the MAF doesn't have any overheating problems, in any car. thirdly, the maf is so small and so close to your intake and so thick that NO amount of insulation (foam, foil, or otherwise) is going to do any good. the reason you have never heard of this "mod" before today is because it doesn't work. i'm sorry, but it just doesn't.
