Default wrecked my car...can u help?

Well a couple weeks ago a wrecked my'01 B5(not my fault). The chicks insurance company is writing me a nice size check. I have to replace the hood, grille, and front bumper. But i would like to get an entire body kit. Problem is as you all know everything is just so expensive (or maybe im just kinda cheep) I looked at all the links that have been posted on the sticky and searched around the net, buteverything isa little more than i would like to pay. I may just have to break down and spend a little, but i wanted to know if you all knew of any other sites that sell good looking, long lasting body kits plus extras. And maybe your opinions on some body kits and paint schemes(likes and dislikes)

Thanks in advance

personally, i don't like body kits on audi's (well the ones that look good are really expensive) i would say get an S4 bumper, those look good, and then take the spare money and throw it under your hood or suspenssion to lower the car and then you don't need a body kit to make it look lower

yea...it only thing is im clueless and dont have the space when it comes to lowering. i know im to cheap to pay for that. but putting the money under the hood does sound better.

i dont have a shop or anything. ive been reading previous post about it though. let me know if im right. all i need is strut's and springs, but struts arent necesary. i have 17's now. what would be the best spring/strut set up if i want to keep a fairly comfortable ride.

yeah if you are just looking for confort and lowering just go with the bilsteins... and you don't need a shop, i do all my work infront of the house on a gravel driveway, all you need is some basic tools tourque wrench, and such. and hten go to Checker Auto or somethign and rent a spring compressor. its free.

ok thanks...one more question (might be a lil ignorant) you said you would get an s4 bumper. are you telling me the s4 bumper and the a4 bumper are interchangable along with the grille?

if i was in your shoes id get an s4 bumper/rs4 grillllfor sure. if you have time and another car to drive while waiting for it to get repaired maybe look around for a carbon fiber hood if thats you and if you got the right color for one. basically if youre getting a check, dont pay to make your car look the same. im guessing you need new headlights too (maybe not) so get some1 piece headlights with an hid kit. if youre gonna be doing the work yourselfyou might as well throw the kit on whileputting your new headlights in.just got my kit from vvme.com and im pretty happy. but like the others said, body kits are kind of gay. just lower your car
