i thought the same thing with that one fog light in the rear.. i was like wtf when i took out the other side and was like how did they forget to cut a hole for this bulb and not put one in.. so i did it myself.. i feel retarted.

Thats really interesting, but why even have 1 if you cant have both, and who decided it would be on the driver side and why did they even make a spot then for a bulb to go on the other side? Very interesting, but i have 2 rear foglights now [8D] .

"why is it on the driver side" so when cars come up behind you they know its the driver side they are overtaking and its the one side that's a legal requirement, more upper market cars have both fog lights on the rear ( break lights are designed to work when breaking only ) fog lights stay on all the time in the fog and when the break lights come on with the break lights its very noticeable, if your break lights stay on all the time your car is defective and its against the law to drive with your fog lights on when no fog present so people don't get mixed up with fogs and breaks

I oculd see it being good for "break checking" but then like was said. you cant use them all the time as it would be misconstrued for stuck break lights. If you had a switch to turn one on and off it would work, but that just seems like a waste of time and money.
