Default WTF? Seriously 2 weeks?

Ok so I have had my 97 1.8TQ for 2 weeks today. Its great and I have all the maintenance records. It runs great, but today it threw a check engine light! I bought it from a reputable Audi dealer in Milwaukee (Audi North Shore). I did buy it "as is" but dammit if i have only had it for 2 weeks! Should I expect them to cover it. I means if it were like 3 months down the road it would be my responsibility, but c'mon 14 days and I am already getting it checked out!? Any opinions?

Just go to autozone and get them to scan it. It could be something simple. Like my O2 sensor codes. My CEL is always on

Its like that commercail and burning into my forhead

I doubt they will cover it but it is worth a shot

+1
Go to AutoZone or somewhere else and get it scanned to see what is going on. Good Luck.

Don't worry, When I bought my car I only had it for a week when the belt tensioner siezed up and threw the belt. You have a lot of this type of fun stuff to look forward too.

Get the code read asap, you still do have some recourse is many states. So if it's something potentially serious, time is not on your side.
