Default Wub wub wub sound...

Alright, so I've got a wub wub wub sound coming from my rear passenger side of my '97 A4 Quattro. The sound is audible from a very slow speed all the way up. It doesn't seem to fade or increase with turning or accelerating/braking. I've replaced the bearings, rotors, pads and CV joint. I'm running out of ideas. Help!

Does the sound disappear when the car is standing still? If the sound does not increase in occurance with speed than it doesn't appear to be involved with a rotating part. When I first read this I thought you either have a bad tire or a flat spot on the tire. I had a similar noise when a belt in the tire let go. In that case the sound didn't get louder with speed. You can rotate the rear tire that the noise is coming from to the front and see what happens. If the noise moves to the front then you found the issue. If it stays in the rear move the other tire forward. If the noise still occures then it may be time for a mechanic to take a closer look at the rear end for any issues.

I've had my tires rotated in the time I've had the noise. It is consistently coming from the rear right. It seems like it's a rotating part because the frequency does increase with speed.

Seems like you already hit the usual offenders. I would look at the rear end and drive shafts now as that is about the only items you haven't replaced/repaired. Probably best to get the car in the air (all tires off the ground) and rotate the drive train (spin the wheels by hand) to see if you can further narrow down where the noise is coming from. Sometimes the location you think the noise is coming from while inside the car is different that when outside.
