I have the Xenon headlights in my 03' A4 1.8T. They are only for the low beams and yesterday my driver side burnt out (actually the cover was popped off somehow and water got in and now it's burnt out)...but anways, i don't want to go to the dealership to replace. Anyone know what bulb i need (i've heard H7 and DS2??). I went to the autoparts store and they have the reg. bulbs and they are size H7-44 or something like that.

Also, i tried to remove the headlight by removing the two screws on top but the headlight won't pull out?? Seems like it's caught somewhere inside the fender...do i need to take the inner fender out to remove another screw?

 

if you have factory xenons its DS2...

 

yes, get a d2s 4300k bulb
and there is another torx down inside the fender.. and iirc another somewhere

just search for b6 headlight removal
