Default Xenon conversion for B7

I didnt get lighting package for my B7

Wondering if there will be a chance for me to upgrade to xenon HIDs in the future. Will it be plug and play? Or will it be complicated to install?

I would like my HIDs to look exactly like stock xenons. Any kits suggested?

Dont b7's use reflector headlights, opposed to projectors -- when you have halogen? If thats the case... you will need B7 specific headlight housings... and then you'll need the ballasts and all that. I'm not sure if there is a b7 ecode available or not... but yeah, you'll be looking at upwards of 800 bucks I think, cause you'll be starting from scratch.

The 99.5+ b5's used projector halogens... so you can just buy a the bulbs and ballasts and stuff -- i think phillips makes a kit... dunno who sells it though.

apg, if you already have projectors... why not just upgrade to hid, and clear your corners? saves you like 500 bucks.

b/c then i will still have the crapy 2 peice headlights. Can i get the HID conversion then at a later point install the ecodes without haveing to buy a new HID kit.

What about DOT xenons? They must be cheaper than ecodes.

ECSTuning.com will be selling E-code (euro version) xenon headlights sometime soon. You have several options.

Install a xenon system into your current reflector headlights - least optimal

Install US Spec B7 projector headlights made for xenon and then install xenon componants - good

Purchase the Euro E-code projector xenon headlights and install xenon into them - best

Holy crap apg, I thought you had 1 piece lights, and you were in a 99.5.

In your sig, they look so clear... usually the 2 piece are all yellow and fugly. But yeah, I see your point now :P
