Default XENON headlight match

I was involved in a little accident a couple weeks back and the body shop replaced the whole headlight on my 03 b6. When i look at the lights next to each other, the new one looks white, unlike the old one that looks more purple. I asked the shop owner, and he claims he put the same bulb in the new light from the original that was replaced. Could this just be cause its new or could it be a different lense? i dont know, but i want it to look like it did before! [:'(] tHaNkS!!!

Stock xeon light temp bulb is 4300k which is very white. Anything with a blue tint to it would be an aftermarket bulp like 6000k or more.

I had the exact problem when my '01 got backed into. they replaced the projector housing with a new hid(same temp as stock and oem housing). There was a noticable difference in both color and the beamwhen you drive at night, the new Hid and housing outshine the old one by alot. I ended up having to buy a brand new housing and bulb to make it match, which wasn't cheap. The difference in color and brightness is mostly due to the fact that your other housing is older and a little more cloudy then your new one. It sucks when **** like that happens........

But stock xeon light temp is 4300k, which should have no blue in it at all. Im thinking your other bulb is aftermarket/different temp bulb.
