so i bought a 97 Audi 1.8TQabout 1 month ago and i decide to do some mods to it .. so i decide to put HIDS, DVD Player, Stereo, M3 spoiler, it alredy came with rims which are 18" but im not really feeling them i'll probably sell them and buy the S4 ones ..... and some parts came in today .. my car even tho is a 97 everthing in the front is from a 99 .. well grill and head lights lol .... today i got my 99 OEM tailights (the red ones with white) and i got my Intake http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AUDI-...92082812QQrdZ1i know it says its for v6 but i got for the 1.8T .. by the way is this intake good it says its form CAI so i don't know don't really care .. i got my eye browns .. and my tripple pillar pod gauge which my gauges form shiftglow are sopose to be coming tomorrow so after i stall everthing ill make sure to put some pics for you guys ... thanks...

lmao yeah i mispelled everthing my gauges are from glowshift and i meant eyelids .... in boston we usually say eyebrowns ... and where can i get a heat shield

 

yo, that link you included (to the air intake) goes to an ebay auction...the auction says that a heat shield is included with the air intake. you may have missed this....

You can make a heat shield that 1 of are members posted in the DIY section or buy 1 from the zine i think. That heat shield that comes with it wont be worth a dam. Deff. post some pic when done.

i would have waited on the browneyes and the intake is pretty much useless, the stock airbox is damn good, if its not good enough you can diy it and make it better than any ebay cai...

thats like almost a chip right there...

go giac or apr, i reccomend apr because you can upgrade to the stage 3...
