Wheelsnext.com called me today. Turns out that theHP Evos that i attempted to order are now on back-order and won't be available for a while.

I got to thinking that this may have worked in my favor. I was messing around with my pics, and decided to slap a set of black rims on my ride. I've honestly never been a fan of black rims until i got to looking.......and looking, and looking. I think i'm in love.

So here's the deal - i cannot make up my mind, so i've decided to letyou (yes, YOU) decide my fate. Below are two options. The first is my ride with a set of IForged 7-spoke splits, and thesecond is with a set of mesh's (crappy photoshop, but u get the idea).

Mind you - i cannot afford forged rims, so i will go with something similar. Maybe a set of Torx Champions, or maybe even HP Evos in black (either way, both will havechrome or polished lip).

Let me know your thoughts - Black meshs', or Silver/Hypersilver? Once the poll is closed this Saturday, majority will decide on what i get. Thanks for voting!!

i would work this, and see if you cant get a more expensive set for the same price of the hp evo's.. tell them you need the wheels asap, and if they cant get you a set or hp evo's or something else you like at a compareable price, then you will take your business else where

 

I think I told you this already... and many here will agree... splurge! Spend a few more hundred, and get these! They do packages for 1500 with tires, shipped.

I wish i could. I already told Miguel (go figure) that i wasn't in any rush to get the rims; which i'm not. I leave for Seattle next week and won't be back until the 26th. Was hoping to get something ordered this week so they'll be sitting on my doorstep when i got home. You know - something to look forward to. Because hey, who doesn't like the UPS man??

I'm really looking at 18x8's - those LMs are 8.5's so i'm concerned about them sticking out too much. The blue avant in that listing doesn't look too bad. I really like the "tucked" look if i'm going to lower my ride.Similar to the pic w/the black rims.
