nah man, just take some silver or chrome like spray paint, and put an extremly light coat on the bulbs
it costs like 5 buks and it looks exactly like the ones they sell for like 15 a pop...
btw, your car looks familiar, cept I have an rs4 grille...
i think that all black, except lights and rings is the way to go, at night, it makes em look like there floating...
when you look in the rear-view-mirror from another car, you see the bright lights, and then a hint of rings... it loooks shaweeeet!

Looks good man. Care to do a writeup on what materials you used and the process? I am anxious to do this now that yours turned out so well.

Same here...wrap some masking tape around the bulb electrodes and leave the tape long, so you can hang them over something while you spray them...I had them hanging from the rungs of a ladder. Just use a LIGHT coat, and give them a minute to dry between passes, or else they'll start to run a little.
my first set of bulbs i put one light coat on and it worked pretty well. it didn't dim the light output at all but you could still barely see some amber when the bulbs were off..i made a second set and put two coats on. they're completely silver now, but i can tell that they're slightly dimmer now
