Are you the type to hang onto your car?
I really like my '02 A4. Lately I have seen these great lease specials advertised, where I can be driving a 2007 for about $100/month more. The latest cars have great features. It is really tempting to get a new one and sell this one.
But the more I drive A4 loaners or sit in the newer models, the more I appreciate mine. I love the exterior styling of my '02 (B6?) more than I like the '06-'07 (B7?). The B6 is more concept-car looking, while the the current models are slightly more mainstream (not as bad as VW's blatant Japanese styling though, and fortunately still very appealing). And when I sit inside an '07, I am amazed at how little has changed. The interior design is nearly identical.
I have driven an '07 CVT that accelerates so smoothly...but I can get front tire slip and the traction-control light to come on easily. In my B6 Quattro I can floor it in wet weather (APR tuned too) without any tire slip at all. It's getting up there in mileage 66k and is doing really well with a little TLC, and I find myself wanting to stick with it for alot longer, change her belt, maybe change her tires, and see how she does for the next 50k miles. Kinda like an old pair of jeans, that despite a little wear just seems to fit better with time.
So, my question is, do any of you choose to stick w/your present ride and resist the temptation to get a new one?

Yeah, well even i could let go for a evo!^^^^ id trade my S any day for one.(even know i just raced and won, the guy was cool) I will sacrafice comfort and luxary anyday for speed, haha. Just the way i look at things.
I plan on keeping mine for another yr or two then getting rid of it for an S4. I will more than likely drive nothing but Audis for the rest of my life. Its hard to leave the quattro.
The Quattro is amazing... I <3 every second of it. My cars at 39k Miles and I plan on sticking with it to 100k then dropping it, assuming no major issues take place! cause if they do its going up on auto trader with a temporary fix
just kiddding.
