Just wanted to see what everyone says and what experiances have been. Mine is legal right now, but I am considering re doing it to almost jet black so that cops/people can't see that I have an In Dash DVD player. I am obviously a kid and my car stands out, so I wanted to know if any of you have been hassled about illegal tints and what you had to do about it. Thanks for the time.

Really depends on location..
Im in Toronto Canada .. and there is no 'legal' tint up here.
It is up to the cop if they consider it too dark.
I have been warned , but never a ticket.
btw I have 30% tint all around. Pretty dark at night

my audi is ALMOST legal (in cali there's no limit on the rears and 70% on the fronts, front to back i've got 50-25-15)...never gotten any tickets or even warnings...yet. my old honda had 35% up front and 5% in the rear, which made the fronts look even darker..i got a couple warnings from cops but never any tickets
