Default 2009 A5 front control arms

Need to have all 8 replaced as bushings are all shot. Shop is getting parts from WorldPac. $1750 for 8 arms ($219 ea). Labor is $800 (says the job will take 8 hours). Any thoughts? Scheduled to go under the knife tomorrow at 9AM AZ time. Thanks in advance.

Not an overly difficult DIY if you know your way around a tool box. Probably could find a much cheaper (in price, not quality) set from ESC Tuning or FCP Euro.

Don't forget an alignment after it's done.

Thanks Brad. Sadly, I am not much of a DIY guy nor do I personally have the proper equipment of a lift. As far as the sites you recommended for parts, I did see several other brands less expensive that OEM, I just have no clue about relative quality. Brands I see include: SPC Perf, Meyle, Lemforder, TRW and Vaico. Looks like the least expensive non-OEM set of all eight arms I can get is about $800. Any thoughts on quality of the brands I listed?

Meyle is a well known and trusted name in the euro community.
