Hello everyone. Hope all is well with everyone.

I am hoping someone can guide me with an issue on my 2010 Audi A5 sportback 8T 2.0 tfsi cdnl engine.

Basically the car starts perfectly fine when engine is cool. Revs and drives fine. All fluid levels are okay. The temperature gets to 90 on the dial and stays there so there is no overheating issues. The issue is when it's warmed up after a couple of miles of driving and you turn car off, it won't start again straight away.

At this point the epc warning light will light up along with engine management light and the car won't start. The vcds will come back with this code

5456 - Starter will not turn
P3054 00 (229) - Jammed or electric malfunction

If you let the engine cool down and reset all the codes it will start up again straight away. Clearing the codes and trying to start straight away doesn't work. It first has to cool down.

I thought maybe it might be fuel supply issue with injectors when warm but then with this diagnostic code it doesn't make sense.

Any advice or comment helpful please.
