Default Carbon build-up on intake valves

Hi everyone...

I have another question before I put in my order for a 2011 A5 2.0T. I've read a lot of info on the carbon build-up problem on Audi's direct injection engines. Is this an issue that still exists on the new models? If so, how susceptible is the the 2.0T engine to carbon build-up? Is it something that would keep anyone from buying the car if they knew about it before hand?

Hmm....one month later and not a single reply? So is carbon build-up not an issue on these engines or do people just not like to talk about it?

most of us are po' folk here... can't even imagine buying a new A5.

As for the carbon issue, it's been a few years since the discovery of the problem, but I don't know what they've done to fix it...
