Chain Driven or Cambelt?
I'm looking to buy an Audi A5 shortly, however I'm trying to find out a way of telling which models/years have the cambelt and which ones are chain driven.
I'm looking specifically at a 2009 (09 reg) A5 2.0 TDI.
Although there are others and I was hoping someone here can point me to a definitive way of telling which car has the standard belt, and which is chain driven.
Am i also right in assuming along with full service history i don't have to have the chain changed like a normal belt (every 4 years/80k miles?)
I'd like to know this so when im buying and if it has a standard belt, i can find out if its been changed or not recently (as i believe it costs around £450).
