I'm trying to pull and replace my cooling fan assembly off of my '10 A5, to no avail. I've pulled the underside plastic panels and top panels and removed the electric pigtail. It appears that the assembly just 'sits' in slotted grooves on the sides and tops to hold it in place, however it won't budge loose. I can't find a single screw, nut or bolt holding it in place. Any ideas on how the fan assembly releases from the primary assembly? It looks exactly like these pics and I still can't see anywhere it would attach via these pics either.
