01 A6 2.7T Overheating...
So I'll just ask in general, what would be the primary or even secondary, etc. things that would be the culprit of my 01 A6 2.7T having a hard time keeping median temperature on hot days in slow traffic/parked?
I just replaced the AC condensor fan that was making an awful racket, but I think the old one was working even though it was squealing like a pig. Coolant levels appear fine.
On regular temp days (85°F or less) it's really not a problem. But on hot days, in slow traffic with the AC on, it jumps to "3/4 hot" in a heartbeat. I end up cutting the AC and "light-footing" it to TRY and keep the temp at bay until I can either get to some quicker moving traffic or get home altogether.
Thoughts?
