Yesterday my (babied) car with 77K miles started vibrating on minimal acceleration and the CEL started flashing, then just stayed on. Under heavy acceleration the vibrations ceased, but would come back with light pedal use. Mech is gone till Tuesday. Complete timing belt service done a year ago, never any other problems. Any thoughts? Thanks.

 

you need to pull the codes to get a direction. Is it a misfire? what cyl. it may be on etc.
