Hi and before I start what a cracking website!!

Right my Dads got a a 2001 Audi A6 2.4 Auto tiptronic, it started spluttering about two months ago its been toa Audi specialistwhich they have replaced Airflow mass metre -spark plugs & leadsalong with a full servicenow heres the strange bit theengine managment lightdoesnt come on and itonly it only splutters between 1000 - 2000 revs thisonly happens when the car has been running for 15-20 minutes & it doesn't always do it. Tried running it onhigher octanepetrol but to no joy still the same runs great when its cold no problems & once its passed 2000 revs.....

Just thoughtbefore spending even more money someone might be able to shed some light on thisproblem

2.4L? replace all both of your before cat O2 sensors and vaccum lines. The car won't run on the O2 sensors until the engine reaches closed loop function (operating temp) so if it starts to sputter after the engine is warm its probably getting funky signals from the O2 sensors. The vaccum lines probably need to be replaced as well.
