Can anyone tell if this has a sport package?

 

not sure on a 4.2 but i think it's not a sport package~ cause on my 2.7t, it's a 3-stoke steering wheel, and BBS RC rims, and lowered stiffer suspension (...which I can't tell the difference)

 

You must have a 2003 2.7T. I have a 2004 2.7t with sport package that has a 4 spoke.

 

oh my bad~~ but what's the difference between the 3-stroke and a 4-stroke, driving wise...

 

im almost positive those or not the sport package front seats. i have had a 01 4.2 non sport package and i currently have a 01 4.2 sport package and the sides of the front seats
come up more than those

 

Those are Not sport seats....and did you notice this car lost 2 thousand miles between 2004 and 2005? (Maybe the owner drove it in reverse for a year? ). This car has more paint chips missing than my '01 with 132+K miles. I wouldn't touch this car with a ten-foot tow rope....

 

Ihave njp17's old one and it doesn't have the sports package. my seats look a lot different then his. The steering wheels are the same though

 

something about that car just looks wrong. they "look" like the sport seats design-wise, but seem flatter and the side bolsters don't seem nearly as high. almost like maybe they've been reapolstered or something. regardless, i don't think i would buy that car. it looks like it's been used and abused already by a careless driver judging by the rediculous amount of dings and paint chips missing from the doors.

ditto. sports came with stock 17's as well as I remember. It sits low like one but those are 16s and the seats are not sport seats. the steering wheel is the same so not an indicator. As for paint chips, it is a six year old car and in a high traffic city, that can be somehwat unavoidable. If you have someone run the vin, I think it will indicate if it is a sport or not but if it is, I think the seats have been replaced which would make me worry about a previous flood.
