My 03 3.0 started smelling like fresh oil but kinda like gear oil to. down the road a little more after getting on it a little the oil light came on. brought it on checked filled the oil went and test drove real quick got on it a little again and it started smoking from the tailpipe? help please anyone know what this might be

 

Could have some wasted valve guides/seals.

Do you have any service history for the car? How often was the oil changed?
Was the proper oil used?

 

I don't I got it used for a deal cause I've always wanted and audi. Has a good carfax with the recomended maintence. But it also sat for a year. The car dealership has to fix it but I'm trying to figure out what's wrong incase they don't I have an idea of how much its gonna cost.
