'09 A6 - Any way to get stickshift in US?
I want to get a new '09 A6, current owner of a '00 A6 2.7T 6 speed manual.
The only hesitation I have is the fact that dealers no longer sell manuals in the US. Is this car even made anymore in a stick (any country) and is it possible for me to get one here in the US thru my dealer?
Asking the dealer is a hem and haw and no, but I get the sense that they just dont want to do the work.
Can someone here let me know if there is any hope of me getting a manual '09 A6 so I can stop considering a 5 series?

In the USA, the NHTSA/EPA/DOT have to approve every vehicle/drivetrain combination, so if Audi didn't go through the expense of type approving a manual transmission in the A6, it will be impossible to import one and register for road use (either by them or you).
Keep the 2.7T rolling and enjoy how much it can make you smile!
