18" OEM RS6 Wheels on Ming Blue C5 A6
Well, I finally got the wheels put on - figured I would post a couple pics. I personally love the wheels, especially against the beautiful ming pearl blue paint & chrome accents. They look even better in person but let me know comments They are OEM Audi/Ronal stamped 18x8 et 43 wheels wrapped in 225/40/18 Falken ZE-512 All-Season Performance Tires. ECS' H&R Trak+ 12mm Spacers (Hub&Wheel centric) were added to flush the wheels with the fenders and to clear my 2.7's BBK; I am very happy with the aggressive look it gives. Chrome plated 14 x 1.5 x 40mm extended lugs were used.

damn...I don't even want to envision the aftermath of an only 3 - 3 1/2 inches of rubber tire explosion at 80-90 mph.
Not trying to be a Debbie Downer here....nice wheels (he could have cleaned them up before selling them to you)
Oh, I like the Sentra!

mexican: Sorry, but I don't think it is worth spending $1k+ just to lower a car 1-2"...might look better with a drop, but still think she's looking sexy now. Next thing is CD/S rotors, ceramic performance pads, and painting the calipers
thanks rsoni
and chefro, sentra belongs to the mum. lol white chevy extreme in the background is my buddy's - I do not allow GM vehicles in my family! lol

lowering is more about performance than looks. at least for me. lowering the car lowers the center of gravity, obviously. lowering center of gravity leads to less body roll which results in a more consistant weight distribution which leads to a more consistant contact patch over 4 tires which leads to going faster around a corner which leads to better times and faster laps which, hopefully, leads to a win.
chefro, i don't know about you, but i'd rather have an explosive blow out on a 40 series tire than a 60. loss of all that sidewall will unbalance the car even more. you're not going to get any more or less traction from the bare rim, but you'll have more stability because that corner of your car isn't dipping as far. not that i disagree with your statement.. blowing a tire @ 90MPH is going to be an experience to remember no matter what size the tire is..
