There is plenty of clearance especially in the back.
I had almost no clearance witht he H&Rs before.
never measurd the clearance. In the front you can slide 1 but noy 2 fingers b/w the top of the tire and the fender. Rear is more, maybe 2-3.
Witht he H&R I could not even put a finegr in between!!!

I just got a '02 A6 4.2 w/ stock 17's and I'm considering lowering it before I move to 18's. Just want to get an idea of how much I might need to lower it even w/ 18's on it. I don't like much daylight between the tire and the fender. One-two fingers width is perfect. Then my wife won't bottom it out in our driveway. Thanks.

Yes! I got back last week! 
Not all the way home yet, but should be there in the next few days. I'll be coming home to a freshly detailed car too, thanks to my fiancee! [8D]

AC recharge!!! (Lets hope that is why it isn't cold!)

Once I get all that done I'm going to check out the Tail of the Dragon (US-129). Prolly some time in June or July.I need to get out and work on some photography skills.If you want some sig pics just let me know and we can go for a cruise.
