i have a 98' audi a6 (newer model) with the stock 6-cd changer that goes to the concert1 radio.

the cd changer stopped working recently and im looking for a replacement.. would this fit..

thanks, and any reason as to why it failed on me, any way to troubleshoot? its keeps having err1 everytime i try to load a cd and also it plays sometimes, skips like crazy, and ends up with error usually.

Who still plays CDs anymore?
Get a Dice interface (or similar) and plug it to the CD changer cable harness, then connect your iPod and you are in business.

 

thanks for the reply.. can you give me a link for a good ipod interface on ebay thats like around $50 or close to that..

 

Alas the cost of an iPod interface is more like 3 times that, but it seems like the way to go unless you won that eBay auction and got the CD changer for $50.00.
