1998 Audi A6 Quattro Rear Wheel Bearing Housing

1998 Audi A6 Quattro Rear Wheel Bearing Housing
Got a used A6 that had brake issues. Upon replacing the rear rotors and brake pads I had clearance issues with the rotor not sitting straight. Upon further inspection I removed the caliper bracket and found a large crack on the top dog ear mounting tab located on the wheel bearing housing. This is causing the rotor to be misaligned and is obviously the source of the problem.
Does anyone have any experience replacing a rear Wheel bearing housing? What are the steps? Does this part have to be sourced from the junk yard?
Could a good weld save me time and trouble?
Having trouble finding the procedure to replace the housing itself and cant even find the parts except for on ebay.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks.
