Default 19's? To big?

A quick question, are 19's to big to put on an a6 w/o special care?

19's done right looks great. 20's look a little big on the A6, but you can pull it off on an A8.
Just google hartmann wheels and you will be able to find lots of cars with 19's on them.

I have summer 18s and the ride is harsher than the stock winter 17s. I suspect 19s would be even worse and more susceptible to tire damage. Balance between looks and reliability, my friend.

Wow mixed reviews... Lol I was thinking 18's but I found a pair of all black lorenzo 19s that look sinister. What I really want is a pair of 18s that are 5 spoke and all black. Anyone know where I can find some?

Unless roads are PERFECT where you live, IMO 19s don't get enough protection with 35 series sidewalls and damage way too easily. I switched 'back' to 18s, and while the look isnt quite the same, with 40 series sidewalls they are more robust and I don't cringe every time I hit a pothole. I bent 3 of my Hartmann RS6 replicas and replaced them, and got tired of the hassle and cost.

Good luck, either way...

Rick
